a yearning to make
to fold sew crease
with my hands
to write draw dance and be free.
this architecture degree keeps me excited about design
keeps me in the loop
keeps me motivated to do all things beautiful
and yet… i have no time.. to do things i want to do..
must.. learn to enjoy this degree for everything it is, and everything it gives
must enjoy and make the most of all opportunities..
must do,
everything in my yearns to be to do..
with time - all things come together
but i have no time…
where it my time?
sunken into my assignments
….
so therefore enjoy my assignments?
so therefore be, have, love, live, make, break, shake, and be immersed in the creation that beholds us…
now my second problem. how to reconcile this with faith.
immerse yourself with creative people.
who can sing here?
also. when do you do something. always ask… why?
it’s not good enough to just be pretty and wasteful (resources, time, material)

LISTS LISTS LISTS

Lists are little parasites that keep our minds sane, It’s an obligatory system I keep in my front pocket. They help us to forget for a while,To wander into a cloud, freedom to dream a little.

What’s my list for today?
1. I like to make things with my hands2. I like the hand made, the dated, the forgotten.            …bookbinding, hand printing, screen printing, typography, inkpress
3. Architecture is making sure someone has something to stand under when it’s blimming cold, and shooting down with rain.4. Bookbinder’s course - 2 years at night; or starts in May. $3505. Etsy is a common haunt.6. Go to the Ballet! and learn how to take pretty photos. or photos of pretty things?7. I’m obsessed with paper. the fold.

Acht! We often need little pushes on inspiration to shoot through the woes of a dismally sleepless architecture degree.

Thank you Paul Jackson.
**Paul Jackson is amazing. He brings 2D into 3D, and he’s made me believe in my studio project again!

This scene is missing something.
There should be people sitting around with a newspaper, coffee and their little pooch.

Creative business cards that have been sourced by this website - some are really smart, and probably cost a bucket to produce. I like the rubber stamp one.
